The Current Market is Good for Buyers and Sellers
The San Diego housing market continues to be on a path of leveling out or normalizing. Monthly median home prices were virtually flat this July and the number of closed sales decreased, indicating a healthy real estate market. Mortgage rates also remained as low as they have been since 2011.
Analysis: Current market conditions remain good for sellers who want or need to move, to receive fair market value for their home. With mortgage rates remaining low and home prices no longer skyrocketing, buyers are likely to find it more affordable to make their move at this time

Q2 Economic Report
Our Windermere Chief Economist, Matthew Gardner has published his 2019 Q2 Housing Report.
Prices slightly increased by 1.5% from the third quarter in 2018, but the number of sales decreased by 6.1%.
Average days on market increased from 24 to 29 days during the quarter, here in San Diego County. Despite this slight increase (which is more of a return to normal market time) San Diego continues to have the fastest selling homes in Southern California during the period.
